The Laurel Housing Authority seeks applicants for the following:

  • Maint. Warehouse Inventory Clerk.  Salary is $38,000.00
    Position requires work exp. in maintenance supplies, materials, equipment, computer skills, data entry.  Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, demonstrates a positive attitude.  Ability to maintain a general knowledge of program regulations and guidelines, ability to work independently and deal with the public and other duties as assigned.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

Possession of valid State of Mississippi motor vehicle operator’s license

Must have H.S. Diploma or have GED equiv.

The Arco Lane and PHA Wide Resident Council and Laurel Housing Authority seeks applicants for the following:

  1. ROSS Coordinator - $75,000 – Arco Lane – June 1, 2023-May 31, 2026
  2. ROSS Coordinator - $72,000 – Brown Circle – June 1, 2022-May 31,2025
    The ROSS Program Service Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the ROSS Grant Program in keeping with the Grant’s Planning, Implementation and Outcome Measures as detailed in the e-Logic Model.  In addition, the ROSS Service Coordinator is responsible to collect data, record all applicable data elements, and provide reports that will directly support independent evaluations to determine the effectiveness of the ROSS Program.

Contractual position requires good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and deal w/ public.  Applicant must have valid MS DL, a degree from an accredited college or University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related, at least (3) three years of experience in providing social services to low-income families and be a Homeowner or actively pursuing Homeownership.  Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities may be sufficient.
